This work focuses on HIV epidemic among women in five HIV high prevalence areas of the Russian Federation: St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, and Tver. The survey in each particular region was conducted according to the following sections: HIV epidemic, Basic characteristics of HIV-positive women; Behavioral characteristics of HIV-positive women before and after HIV diagnosis.
