Opioid dependency - is a complex problem often requiring long treatment and care - connected to high risk of HIV infecting in the case of injection of opioids using infected equipment. Due to the fact that there is no universal method of treatment, effective for all people with opioid dependency, there should be wide range of various methods available. Substitution supporting therapy is one of the most effective methods of treatment of opioid dependency.
