Project goal:
Slowdown of HIV and drug addiction spread between teenagers of 14-25 y.o. by organization of volunteer’s activity and preventive trainings in educational institutions by efforts of volunteer-trainers, educated by the methodology “Peer education”.
Project tasks:
Change in sexual behavior of 14-25 y.o. teenagers at more reliable. Slowdown of drugs addiction.
Education for trainers (of Irkutsk, Angarsk, Ussolie-Sibirskoye, Cheremkhovo, Tulun) on HIV/AIDS questions and drugs between teacher training college’s students.
Realization of preventive informational seminars on HIV/AIDS and drug addiction questions by trainers in their town educational institutions.
Organization and reinforcement of volunteers’ activity in Irkutsk region.
Main achievements:
December-January
Seven trainings were passed in Irkutsk region (three trainings in Irkutsk and one training in Angarsk, Ussolie-Sibirskoye, Tulun and Tcheremkhovo)on HIV/AIDS questions to prepare trainers-volunteers.
70 volunteeres and volunteers’ supervisors( to control seminars’ organization and realization) were taught .
