Target Group
Children – orphans, born to HIV –positive mothers
Goal of Project
Promote improvement quality of life of children, born to HIV – positive mothers, who live in child’s institutions of Irkutsk region (child’s houses, kindergartens, schools, etc.) by creating reference centre on work with these children.
Objectives
- To increase the level of awareness on HIV/AIDS, ways of transmission, treatment, prevention and specific of clinic of HIV infection of teachers and students who work with children, born to HIV-positive mothers.
- To reduce stigma and discrimination from the staff of children institutions and future teachers, psychologists and social workers (of child’s houses) towards children, born to HIV-positive mothers.
