GATHERING THE DONATIONS FOR FLOOD VICTIMS AT THE FAR EAST IS CONTINUED!
In the course of floods occurred in some areas of the Far East the population of the flooded areas suffered material losses and many families found themselves in difficulties caused by shortage of the livelihood.
According to the updated information on the situation at the Far Eastern Federal Okrug as of 19/09/2013:
In the Amurskaya oblast in four (4) municipal units four settlements remain flooded in three of which there are 113 flooded living houses with 507 people (146 of which are children). In addition, 146 vegetable gardens, five sections of local motor roads 17,65 km long, and 69 bridges are still flooded. The area of agricultural lands flooded makes 298 thousand hectares. 1132 people were evacuated, 583 of which are children.
In the Jewish autonomous oblast in three (3) municipal units eight settlements with 627 living houses with 2072 people (270 of which are children) have been flooded. In addition, 3823 vegetable gardens, 30 sections of local motor roads to the total of 125,46 km, and 7 bridges are still flooded. The area of agricultural lands flooded makes 15.6528 thousand hectares. 2096 people were evacuated, 975 of which are children.
In the Khabarovsk kray in nine (9) municipal units 72 settlements, 2752 living houses with 23570 people (4265 of which are children) have been flooded. In addition, 3531 vegetable gardens, 3762 'dachas', 28 sections of local motor roads totaling 71,8 km, and 4 bridges have been flooded. The area of agricultural lands flooded makes 45.6 thousand hectares. 7521 people were evacuated, 1501 of which are children.

Donations in the Irkutsk region will be collected in cash. Money collected will be re-sent to Russian Red Cross where it will be immediately distributed in conformity with the needs of the regions.
