An annual “Sibzdravookhranenye. Dentistry -2011” exhibition took place at Irkutsk Exhibition “Sibexpocenter”, Irkutsk Exhibition “Sibexpocenter”, in which RRC Irkutsk Oblast branch specialists and volunteers actively participated. The exhibitors were municipal policlinics and hospitals, dispensaries, pharmacies and businesses, which address the public health issues.
The C&SP specialists presented prevention programs, spoke about the ICC “Steps” service delivery. A special attention was paid to the “Rainbow” Family Center and Visiting Nurse Service. The RRC Irkutsk Oblast branch specialists and volunteers conducted interactive contests and quizzes, presented and distributed IEC materials on prevention (30 crossword puzzles were solved and more than 80 people participated in the “Exam” contest the first day). After the event was finished, a few representatives of policlinics and women wellness centers applied to the RRC Irkutsk Oblast branch office for IEC materials on HIV, hepatitis, TB prevention and to learn more about the ICC “Steps” service delivery. It was agreed that they should refer their clients to the RC office for help. More than 350 people visited the RRC Irkutsk Oblast branch information board. Starting from the first day, there were phones calls at the hotline support number.
