“Development and Carrying out of Trainings for Various Specialists in the Sphere of HIV Prevention among Injection Drug Users”

On July 13-18 the final training of the 1st series for various specialists in the sphere of HIV prevention among injection drug users is planned to take place. Three trainings of the first series have been already carried out, two of them – in Irkutsk and one - in Bratsk. Altogether 27 specialists have taken part in the training sessions.

Although the information dissemination tents at educational institutions in Irkutsk have been closed for the summer break, the secondary prevention of HIV infection among injection drug users is going on. Besides the preparation for the upcoming school year is in progress, as a new brochure entitled “Drug Addiction” is to be published soon, which is aimed at drug addiction prevention among students.
