Involvement of men into activities on AIDS prevention and care is a critical component, because - in many cases - it is men who make decisions on issues about sexual and reproductive health. The role of men and their responsibility for health of their female-partners has a direct link to the character of the epidemic. Twelve projects were chosen - projects that implement wide spectrum of activities on working with men. It is anticipated that the analysis of strategies used in these projects and conclusions made will allow not only to identify men’s needs because of HIV/AIDS and general condition of their health, but also to develop effective methods to work with them.
