The manual describes historical, epidemiological and clinical peculiarities of HIV/AIDS, main modes of transmission: through injection, through sex and from mother-to-child. There are models for prevention of HIV-infection and organization of differential approach to conducting approach with various groups of the youth under 18-years old, taking into consideration age, gender and personal characteristics.
